Einmal um den See
Mein Großvater hat mir zu meinem Geburtstag einen alten Kompass geschenkt. Er hatte diesen Kompass schon so lange ich mich erinnern kann, und ich wollte ihn immer haben.
Im Herbst was ich in Schottland um meinen Bruder zu besuchen, also dachte ich mir, ich stelle den Kompass mal auf die Probe. Nur mit einer Landkarte und dem Kompass gewappnet bin ich in die Berge gefahren, um eine Wanderung zu machen. Es in der Gegend angeblich eine versteckte Kirchenruine.
Leider lief es nicht so gut wie ich es mir erhofft hatte. Ich parkte mein Auto direkt an einem kleinen See. Ich wusste ich musste nördlich gehen, also lief ich einmal halb um den See herum. Auf der anderen Seite ging ich dann gerade aus weiter, immer nördlich, laut meines Kompasses. Aber nach ca. 45 Minuten war ich schon wieder am See angelangt. Also drehte ich mich um, ging ein bisschen den See entlang, bis der Weg wieder in den Wald führte. „Jetzt probieren wir es noch einmal!“, dachte ich mir. „Immer Richtung Norden“. Nach ungefähr 45 Minuten war ich schon wieder an dem See angelangt.
Ich verstand meine Welt nicht mehr, also ging ich zum Auto zurück, und fuhr wieder nach Hause.
Als ich meinem Bruder von meiner gescheiterten Wanderung erzählte, meinte er, es gäbe ein Gerücht, das Kompasse in der Gegend nicht funktionieren, wegen unerklärlichen magnetischen Strömungen. Hätte ich das nur gewusst…
