English Adjectives
Overview
Learn how to use basic adjectives to describe yourself or nouns in short sentences.
Adjectives a words that describe a noun in a sentence by adding a quality of attribute (size, shape, color, etc). One could say, adjectives “modify” a noun, as they can their meaning slightly. Adjectives are always in singular form, even if the noun they are describing are in plural form.
Some adjectives are: beautiful, sad, rich, horrible, boring.
Adjectives occur before a noun, as can be seen in the above examples.
