Today’s word is “Polipasto.”
Polipasto is the Spanish term for a ‘Hoist.’ This device is widely used in construction sites to lift or lower heavy loads using a drum or lift-wheel.
Example sentence: “Vamos a utilizar el polipasto para levantar este bloque de concreto.” This translates to: “We are going to use the hoist to lift this block of concrete.”
