German B2.1

Upper Intermediate German 401 & 402
CORE Languages offers bite size courses lasting about 10 weeks each. We split B2.1 into two courses to offer flexibility for your scheduling and the option to review specific topics without repeating a much longer course. These are our 401 and 402 course levels. This framework is one of the best to learn German for beginners.
To start with level 401 German (B2.1), you are expected to have complete all German 100 levels (German A1), 200 levels (German A2) and 300 levels (German B1).
What Does it Mean for You?

After completing level B2.1, you'll be able to:

  • understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field of specialization.

  • interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.

  • produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

What You'll Learn
As part of the B2.1 curriculum you will learn the following (and more): In our German B2 levels, we take a different approach to learning German. The majority of German grammar has been covered already in previous courses and it is now time to practice by doing.
