Bethany has been passionate about Spanish since high school when she took her first course in the language and developed a close friendship with her Colombian neighbor. Since then she has earned a degree in Spanish education and taught in several settings including privately educating a family in Mexico City, teaching in a classical school in South Carolina, and teaching 6 years in a South Carolina public high school. She has also had experience in Spanish-English interpretation and worked for a government contractor in a translation capacity. Bethany has traveled to Spain multiple times as well as other European countries and dabbles in learning Armenian. She currently resides in Maine enjoying the breathtaking coastline and landscape of New England.
